'CHESS BARS' image

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 cups cake flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
*a box of plain yellow cake mix can also be used to simplify things
3 eggs
8oz package of cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup melted butter
1 pound of confectioner's sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2. mix the dry ingredients together, then beat in the butter and 1 egg. Press into greased 9x13 pan 3. mix together the cream cheese and remaining eggs. Slowly beat in the sugar, mix till smooth. Pour over mixture. 4. Bake for 40-50 min. Cool before cutting.
