1 (18 ounce) box chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup margarine
1 egg
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (1 lb) box powdered sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans (I left these out)

Steps:

  • Bottom: Melt margarine in 9X13"pan.
  • Beat egg into margarine, then sprinkle in cake mix.
  • Mix well with fork and press down in pan until evenly spread.
  • Topping: Beat the frosting ingredients well and pour onto cake mixture.
  • Bake at 350º for 40-45 minutes.

This recipe will make you slap the dog and spit on the fire. When I make these, they don't last an hour in my house. Family and friends eat them right up and don't even leave a crumb. I am always having people request these naughty, sweet, just too good not to share bars. ENJOY!!!

3 eggs
1 pkg yellow butter cake mix
1 stick butter
8 oz package of cream cheese
1 pkg confectioners sugar (powder sugar)

Steps:

  • 1. 1 Yellow Cake Mix 1 Egg 1 Stick of Butter
  • 2. Mix 1 egg into cake mix. Melt butter, add to egg / cake mixture. Stir until becomes a ball. Pat into greased 12x15 flat pan.
  • 3. Take 8 oz. Cream Cheese and beat with mixer until smooth. Add 2 eggs and 1 box of confectioner sugar. Mix until smooth.
  • 4. Pour on top of cake mixture and bake 30-35 minutes or until light golden brown in color. Bake at 350 degrees.
  • 5. Cool completely before cutting.

1 (18 1/4 ounce) box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter (melted)
3 eggs (divided)
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (softened)
4 cups confectioners' sugar
1 cup peanut butter chips
1 cup toffee pieces (divided)

Steps:

  • Set your oven to 350.
  • Grease a 13 x 9 pan.
  • With mixer, mix yellow cake mix, melted butter and 1 egg. Press into pan.
  • Next, beat cream cheese until creamy (takes a few seconds), add confectioners' sugar and two eggs and mix until well blended. Fold in peanut butter chips and ½ cup heath bar bits. Pour all this over yellow cake mixture. Sprinkle the rest of the heath bar bits on top and bake for 45 minutes. You can garnish with confectioners' sugar.

1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
16 ounces confectioners' sugar

4 large eggs, divided
1/2 c butter, melted
2 tsp vanilla
1 pkg cream cheese (8 oz), softened
3 c powdered sugar

1 box powered sugar

1 jar(s) lemon curd
3 Tbsp powered sugar

  • 1. preheat oven to 350 step one:mix cake mix with the butter and egg spray hands with non stick spray and pat cake into a 13x9 pan

How to make Lemon Chiffon Chess Bars

1 [16.25] oz box white or yellow cake mix
1 cup butter, melted and divided
4 large eggs, divided
1 [8] oz cream cheese, softened
1 [3.4] oz box instant lemon pudding mix
½ cup heavy cream
1 medium lemon, juice and zest
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 cups powdered sugar
powdered sugar for dusting

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, beat together the cake mix, ½ melted butter and 1 large egg. Beat until fully moistened. Press evenly into the bottom of the pan.
  • In the same bowl, whip together the cream cheese, remaining butter. lemon pudding mix, heavy cream, lemon juice, zest and vanilla. Beat until creamy and no lumps remain.
  • Add the eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
  • Lower the speed of the mixer and add the powdered sugar gradually. Whip until smooth and fluffy.
  • Spread evenly over the crust. Bake for 40-45 minutes. The center should still move when gently shaken.
  • Cool completely then cut into bars. Dust with powdered sugar.
