Steps:
- In a medium saucepan cook the broccoli or cauliflower according to package directions; drain. Cook the pasta according to the package directions; drain. Meanwhile, for sauce, in medium saucepan melt 1 T butter. Stir in flour, basil, and garlic powder. Add milk or light cream all at once. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 1 minute more. Remove from heat; stir in the cottage cheese and the parmesan cheese. Add the broccoli and walnuts; heath through, stirring occasionally. Toss the cooked pasta with 1 T butter. Spoon the vegetable sauce over pasta. Toss to coat pasta.
