Many years ago, someone in the family collected recipes from descendants of my great grandparents, William M. and Florence E (Snodgrass) Whaley and had them compiled into a cookbook. I am posting those recipes here so that they will not be lost. This recipe was submitted by David Schomp

Steps:
- 1. Grate cheddar and Velveeta cheeses; add cream cheese and mix well.
- 2. Add finely minced garlic and pecans. Mix well.
- 3. Sprinkle chili powder on plastic wrap or wax paper (do NOT use aluminum foil). Roll cheese into logs and wrap in plastic wrap.
- 4. Refrigerate for several days before serving.
