CHEESE AND SPINACH ROLLS image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 bunch of English Spinach or Silverbeet (stalks removed)
2 Egg Yolks,
1/4 cup of Cream,
Salt and Pepper,
125g of Fetta Cheese (crumbled)
8 sheets of Pampa's Filo Pastry,
60g of melted Butter,
2tbl of Sesame Seeds

Steps:

  • Place washed spinach leaves in a covered pan over high heat, until wiltered, drain and chop roughly. Beat egg yolks and cream together, season and add fetta and spinach. Brush 4 pastry sheets with butter and top each with buttered second sheet, cut each set into quarters. PLace a spoonful of the mixture into each rectangle fold in the sides and roll. PLace onto a baking tray brush with melted butter, sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 200 for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown
