Number Of Ingredients 5

1 - cauliflower
300 gram(s) grated cheese
Seasoning - to taste
2 medium eggs beaten
1 tablespoon(s) mustard or dried herbs (optional)

Steps:

  • Grate or whiz in blender the cauliflower, until similar to breadcrumbs. Put in large mixing bowl
  • In another bowl mix the grated cheese and optional extras, then add to the cauliflower mix and stir thoroughly.
  • Next add the beaten egg to the cauliflower cheese, and use washed clean hands to bind together.
  • Preheat oven to 160c. Line a square oven tray with parchment paper (ensure you have a similar shaped one spare for turning)
  • While oven is warming replace mixture to fridge.
  • When oven is hot, remove mixture from fridge and stack in centre of parchment paper about 1 and a 1/2 inches deep. Use a fish slice to try and make as square as you can.
  • Cook in oven for about 40 minutes in centre of oven, until it starts to golden up in colour.
  • Now line another oven tray (similar size) with parchment paper and place on top of other (hot) tin. Be careful, and flip over. So the new tray is now at bottom, and old parchment paper is at top. Carefully remove old paper.
  • Return to oven and cook for another 20 until golden brown.
  • Serve with sausages, bacon, veggies.
