cashew and swiss salad image

this is an awesome easy salad. i keep dressing on the side because lettuce will wilt if you mix it in.

Number Of Ingredients 15

DRESSING
1 c grape seed or canola oil
1/3 c apple cider vinegar
3/4 c sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp dry mustard
1 1/2 Tbsp poppyseeds
MIX THE ABOVE INGREDIENTS IN SHAKER OR BLENDER
SALAD
1 bunch chopped green onion or less to taste
1 pkg green and red leaf lettuce
1 pkg swiss cheese (cubed)
1 can(s) cashews, salted (to taste)
1 green apple (chopped)
1 1/2 handfuls of dried cherries/or cranberries

Steps:

  • 1. combine all ingredients in order.keep dressing separate, pour over individual servings
