Cake Mix Extender Recipe - (3.7/5) image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 t. baking soda
1/2 c. water or milk
1/3 c. oil or softened butter
1 egg
For Chocolate Cake Mixes - To the above ingredients add 1/4 c. cocoa and an extra 1/3 c. sugar
For White or Yellow Cake Mixes - To the above ingredients add 1 t. vanilla

Steps:

  • Mix all together. Add to your already mixed cake mix batter. Bake according to package directions. The cake may need to bake 5-10 additional minutes.
