BUTTERSCOTCH SPECTACULAR image

My husband loves anything butterscotch. This is one recipe that he really loves and requests.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/2 c butter, melted
1 c plain flour
1 c chopped nuts (i use pecans)
8 oz cream cheese ,softened
1 c powdered sugar
1 large container cool whip, divided
2 small boxes of butterscotch instant pudding mix
3 c milk

Steps:

  • 1. Mix butter, flour, & nuts til crumbly & press into buttered 13"x9" baking dish. Bake around 25 minutes @ 350 degrees. Keep a check on it. & cool.
  • 2. Mix cream cheese & 1 cup of powdered sugar. FOLD in 1 cup of the cool whip & pour over crust.
  • 3. Mix puddings and milk and spread over cheese mixture. Cover with the remaining cool whip & CHILL.
  • 4. You can also use chocolate pudding.
