Great for breakfast or brunch

Steps:
- Combine flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda and salt - mix well.
- Add 10 tbsp. cubed butter to the dry ingredients and work in with a pastry cutter (hint - you can also freeze the butter and grate it in). You want mixture to resemble coarse crumbs.
- Next add cranberries and mix well - then add buttermilk and mix until it just comes together.
- Flour our board and then knead dough until it just comes together. Using a pizza stone, pat out dough to a circle about 1" thick. Cut circle into 8 wedges using a pizza cutter.
- Brush the top with a little egg and buttermilk mixed together. Sprinkle with granulated sugar on top. Bake at 375 degrees F for 20-25 minutes. Feel free to brush tops with cream when they come out of the oven.
