Butter Frosting image

Number Of Ingredients 5

4 tablespoons butter, softened
2 cups confectioners' sugar
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Dash of salt

Steps:

  • With a wooden spoon, gradually blend the butter with the sugar, adding just a little sugar at a time. When all but about 1/2 cup of the sugar is left, add the milk. Beat the frosting with the spoon, add the rest of the sugar, and beat again until smooth. Add the vanilla and salt, and mix.
