How to make Busy Day Casserole

Number Of Ingredients 11

1.5 pound(s) ground beef
8 ounce(s) egg noodles
- "just a pinch" of pepper
- "just a pinch" of salt
1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
1 can(s) tomato soup
12 ounce(s) corn kernels, fresh or frozen
1/2 cup(s) onion, finely chopped
4 ounce(s) mushrooms, sliced
1 tablespoon(s) oil
1 cup(s) cheddar cheese, grated

Steps:

  • In large skillet combine oil and onion.
  • Saute until tender.
  • Add ground beef.
  • Stir to brown.
  • Drain off fat.
  • Add mushrooms, corn and soup.
  • Mix well.
  • Season to taste.
  • Cook noodles in salted water;
  • Drain.
  • Mix noodles, meat and 1/2 cup cheese.
  • Spoon into a 2 quart casserole.
  • Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  • Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
