Brownie Chocolate Pound Cake image

I can't remember where I got this recipe years ago, but it has been a hit everywhere I've shared it.

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 stick margarine
1/2 c shortening
5 eggs
3 c sugar
1/2 c cocoa
3 c sifted flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 c milk
2 tsp vanilla

Steps:

  • 1. Cream butter, shortening, sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, until well blended. Sift dry ingredients. Add alternately with milk.
  • 2. Butter and flour tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour 20 minutes. Place foil over pan for the last 15 minutes.
