Brown Sugar Sriracha Bacon Bites image

How to make Brown Sugar Sriracha Bacon Bites

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/4 cup Sriracha
1/4 cup brown sugar
10 thick-cut bacon slices cut into 4 pieces (approx. 2 inches each)
Non-stick cooking spray
1 1/2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
1 1/2 tablespoons black sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Step 1) Set oven to 375 degrees F. In a bowl combine Sriracha and brown sugar. Also add in bacon pieces. Lightly toss and set aside.
  • Step 2) Line a large baking sheet with tin foil and put a wire rack over the tin foil. Spray rack and put bacon bites in one layer on the rack.
  • Step 3) Bake 15 to 20 minutes until bacon is just about crispy. Coat bacon with both types of sesame seeds and bake an extra 5 minutes. Let cool 5 to 8 minutes and gently move bacon pieces every 2 minutes to prevent sticking. As it cools, the bacon will get even crispier. Enjoy!
  • *(Pro tip: If you want even more Sriracha flavor, don't forget that you can pour some Sriracha in a dish and dip the bacon in the Sriracha sauce kinda like a bacon chicken nugget).
