BROWN SUGAR BRICKLE BARS image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 lb. light brown sugar
3/4 cup butter
3 large eggs
2.5 cups all purpose flour
2.5 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 package (10 oz) package almond brickle chips (sold next to chocolate chips)
1 cup chopped pecans
2 tsps vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350. Cook brown sugar and buter in saucepan over med heat until butter melts and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat, let cool slightly. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each addition. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to sugar mixture, stirring well. Stir in brickle pecans, and vanilla. Pour batter into greased 13" x 9" pan. Bake for 30-32 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
