Broccoli & Chicken Casserole image

This is one of my family favorites they like it so much I usually have to double my recipie so I'll have enough I hardly ever have any leftovers

2 10 oz pkg frozen chopped broccoli
2 c cooked chopped chicken breasts
1 can(s) cream of chicken or mushroom soup
1 c mayonnaise
2 eggs slightly beaten
1 1/2 c finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp dried onion flakes
1 c pepperidge farm herbed stuffing
2 Tbsp butter or margarine

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • 2. Prepare frozen broccoli according to package directions until tender then chop into smaller pieces
  • 3. In a large bowl combine chopped broccoli, chicken, cream of mushroom soup, mayonnaise, eggs, cheese, and onion flakes mix well
  • 4. Pour into 9x13 inch casserole top with dry herbed stuffing
  • 5. Top with pats of butter or margarine bake in oven for 30 to 45 minutes until lightly browned and slightly bubbly
  • 6. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving
  • 7. Note: chicken can be omitted for a meatless broccoli casserole for a side dish
