BREAD PUDDING (BRIOCHE) image

Number Of Ingredients 6

Let the Brioche bread get stale (or dry it out in the oven)
cut into 2" chunks
Mix 4 eggs
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup of sugar and a tsp. of vanilla. Pour over 6-8 cups of bread chunks. Optionally
you can add chocolate chips or raisins (this is really decadent).

Steps:

  • Pour into a greased casserole and bake for about 30 minutes in a 350 F. oven until golden and browned. Serve warm or cool, with whipped cream or creme anglaise or rum or bourbon sauce.
