Brattens is a seafood restaurant in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were known through out the state for their clam chowder. The local newspaper would feature recipes from local restaurants, and Brattens chose to submit this one. It's the best clam chowder ever!

Steps:
- Preparation Drain juice from clams, pour over vegetables, add water to cover. Simmer till vegetables are tender. Melt butter in heavy saucepan. Add flour blend till smooth. Stir constantly while slowly adding cream. Cook & stir with wire whip till thick & smooth. Add vegs, juice, clams. Heat through. Add salt, pepper & wine vinegar.
