- In a saute pan whisk together the water and brandy over medium-low heat. When the mix is luke-warm begin gradually whisking in the brown sugar. It is important to do this over a low heat in order to properly melt the sugar and avoid a "grainy" texture. When all the sugar has been added, continue whisking and add in the heavy creme, vanilla, salt and cinnamon When that is well mixed, add in the peach slices and simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until the liquid is an almost the consistency of syrup. Best served warm.
