Boozy chocolate fondue image

Make an easy, decadent dessert of chocolate fondue spiked with alcohol. Ideal for Valentine's Day. Buy strawberries, marshmallows and shortbread for dipping

75ml chocolate sauce (we used Monin)
40ml salted caramel
splash of brandy (or Tia Maria, or Bailey's)
1 cinnamon stick
strawberries , marshmallows, shortbread fingers

Steps:

  • Light a tealight under a chocolate fondue pot to warm it for a few minutes. When the pot is warm, pour in the chocolate sauce and the salted caramel. Add a splash of brandy (or Tia Maria, or Bailey's).
  • Stir with the cinnamon stick until warm, then use skewers or fondue forks to dip in your choice of strawberries, or marshmallows, or go straight in with the shortbread fingers.
