Steps:
- 1. One or two slices of ham.
- 2. Put about an inch of water in a medium size saucepan.
- 3. Add the quartered ham slices, make sure they are just covered with water. When the water boils, simmer the ham slices about 5 minutes.
- 4. While you are waiting on the ham, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Remove the stems from the cherries and pat dry with paper towels..
- 5. Remove the ham slices from the water, and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 6. Arrange the ham slices in a kitchen sprayed baking dish.
- 7. Pour the brown sugar over the ham slices. Add nutmeg.
- 8. Add the crushed pineapple.
- 9. Add the cherries. .
- 10. Dot with the butter. Pop the baking dish into the oven. Bake uncovered in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 15 or 20 minutes. You want it to just start to brown
- 11. Serve the slices with sides of your choice. This is really good with Cilantro Rice or mashed potatoes.
