Blueberry Pie image

This is a classic blueberry Pie, very easy to make. My family requests it at all holidays and when they can get me make it again & again.

Number Of Ingredients 7

5-6 pint(s) fresh blueberry's
5 tablespoon(s) cornstarch
1 teaspoon(s) lemon juice
3/4 cup(s) sugar
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
1 tablespoon(s) butter
1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon

Steps:

  • Mix sugar,corn starch, salt,cinnamon together, sprinnke over blueberry's.
  • Add mixture in large glass pie dish, dot with butter. Put top crust on, slit or make decorative holes on top of crust for venting of berrie's.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes on 375 degree's until golden brown. Cook pie on middle shelf of oven. Allow to set for 30 minutes to allow pie to cool and set up.
