BISTEC ENCEBOLLADO (DAISY) image

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 12oz strip steaks about 1 in thick
Dry Adobo (recipe or store bought)
3 T cider vinegar
2 T oilive oil
1 large Spanish onion, cut in 1/2 & sliced thin.

Steps:

  • Pat steaks dry. Sprinkle with adobo on both sides. Pour vinegar in bowl and swish to coat bottom of steaks. Let steaks soak up vinegar until the start to change color (about 15 min). Flip and let stand another 15 min. Heat oil in heavy skillet over med high heat. Cook 6 min on first side, then 4 min on second side. Remove steaks, add a splash of olive oil & add unions. Cook untill browned but still crisp.
