BIG MOMMA'S MACARONI AND CHEESE image

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 cup macaroni (uncooked)
6 eggs
1 stick butter
1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese
2 cups sweet milk

Steps:

  • Cook macaroni in water, salted to taste, until tender. After draining water, put butter in hot macaroni. Let melt. Beat eggs, add milk. Shread cheese. Add cheese to eggs and milk, reserving enough cheese to top macaroni after it is baked. Combine cooked macaroni, eggs, cheese and milk mixture. Bake in a large 14x9 glass dish at 350 degrees until eggs and milk set. Do not overbake or it will be dry (about 30 to 35 minutes). Top with shreaded cheese and bake until cheese bubbles (about 5 to 10 minutes)
