This is always a hit. I have made this for school functions, birthdays, and many other occasions. Easy to make and decorate for any occasion.

cooking spray
2 teaspoons hot water
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 (12 ounce) package miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 16-inch round pizza pan with cooking spray.
Mix hot water and baking soda together in a small bowl; set aside.
Cream margarine, brown sugar, and white sugar together. Add pudding mix, eggs, and baking soda mixture; mix until well combined. Slowly mix in flour until smooth. Blend in chocolate chips. Spread in the prepared pizza pan.
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 18 to 20 minutes.
