BEER CHEESE BREAD image

An Archive from my Mother's Recipes. You can change the Beer and Cheese to your liking. Experiment with different flavors.

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 1/2 c plain flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
2 Tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp dried sage
12 oz can of beer
1 c shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375. Grease and flour a 9 inch loaf pan.
  • 2. Mix all dry ingredients, stir in beer and cheese until well blended.
  • 3. Spread evenly in pan. Bake 50 to 55 minutes. Cool 10 minutes.
