Beefy Rice Casserole image

Number Of Ingredients 6

1.5 lb lean ground beef
1/2 c chopped onion
1.5 c long grain rice, uncooked
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s) cream of celery soup
2 can(s) water

Steps:

  • 1. Brown ground beef and onion; drain off fat.
  • 2. Put in greased 2 quart casserole.
  • 3. Add rice.
  • 4. Combine soups in mixing bowl; gradually stir in water until blended and smooth.
  • 5. Pour over rice.
  • 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or unti liquid has been absorbed and rice is tender.
  • 7. Makes 6 - 8 servings.
