Number Of Ingredients 10

1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
1 (1/4 cup) packet dry onion soup mix
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried chipotle powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
1/2 cup water
1 (10 ounce) can cream of tomato soup

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients well except can of tomatol. Transfer meat mixture in a 9x5x3" loaf pan. Cover with cream of tomato soup.
  • Transfer to preheated oven and cook for 1 to 1:10 hours. Remove from heat and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve with mashed potatoes and veggies. Makes 4 servings.
