Yield 20 Sliders

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 Packages Kings Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (in orange bag)
3 tbsp McCormick Grill Mates Pork Rub
1 Bone-in Pork Roast
1 Bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce
1 tsp whole cloves
About 4-6 cups of water (enough to almost cover roast)

Steps:

  • Sprinkle 1 tbsp of pork rub on the pork roast and rub it into the meat. Repeat until you have generously covered the roast. Place roast in slow cooker - fat side down - and begin inserting the whole cloves into the top of the roast. Fill slow cooker with water until roast is almost completely covered with water. Cook for 7 hours on low or until meat easily sperates with a fork and pulls off of the bone. Pour juice from roast in a container and set aside. Shread the meat with two forks. Once shreaded, add a full bottle of BBQ sauce, cover, and turn slow cooker back on low for 30 minutes. Heat rolls as directed on package and make into sandwhiches with pork. You can use the juice that was set aside for gravy too!
