B.B.Q. POLISH SAUSAGE. image

WHEN I WAS A YOUNG BRIDE (35+ YEARS AGO) SOME FRIENDS DROPED BY , AND STAYING LONGER THAN EXPECTED I NEEDED A QUICK MEAL. Not having much on hand I CAME UP WITH THIS SIMPLE DISH . It was a hit with everyone. Over the years I have made it for pot lucks and family dinners, I never have left overs.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 pkg. bun size polish sausage
1 red or yellow onion sliced into strips.
1 large green peppers thinley slced into strips.
1 (18 oz ) jar b.b.q. sauce ( your choice of flavors)
1 pakage hot dog buns

Steps:

  • 1. place polish sausage in a baking dish, add onions, peppers on top of sausage, add b.b.q. sauce over all.
  • 2. place foil over dish to cover pan, place in oven at 350 for 30 minutes.
  • 3. take out of over let stand 5 minutes, place on hot dog buns and enjoy.
