BASIL CHICKEN AND RICE SOUP image

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 can (10.5 ounces) Condensed Tomato Soup
1 container (6 ounces) Fully cooked oven roasted. sliced chicken breasts
1 pkg. (16 ounces) frozen long-grain white rice
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves or 1 tespoon crushed dried basil
1 large tomato, chopped
1 loaf of French Bread

Steps:

  • 1. Combine the tomato soup, chicken, rice, basil, and 2.5 cups of water in a large soup pot. Bring the soup to boil over medium heat, reduce the heat to low and cook for 10 minutes. 2. Serve soup in bowls and top with fresh chopped tomato. Serve soup with French bread.
