Barbecued Chicken Wings image

Number Of Ingredients 9

12 chicken wings
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger root

Steps:

  • Cut each chicken wing at joints to make 3 pieces discard tip. Mix remaining ingredients in medium bowl stir in chicken pieces until well coated. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.Heat oven to 450°. Place chicken with marinade in ungreased rectangular pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches. Bake uncovered 30 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 375°. Turn chicken bake 20 minutes or until done and sauce is absorbed.
