Bang Bang Shrimp image

This is a recipe very close to Bonefish Grill's recipe for this tasty dish of seafood goodness with a kick.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 lb shrimp, (small, 51 to 60 per pound) shelled and de-veined
1/2 c mayonnaise
1/4 c thai sweet chili sauce
3 to 5 dash(es) hot chili sauce, a few drops or to taste (sriracha)
3/4 c cornstarch, to coat the shrimp

Steps:

  • 1. Mix mayo and sauces in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  • 2. Dredge shrimp in cornstarch.
  • 3. Deep fat fry the shrimp until lightly brown.
  • 4. Drain on paper towel, put shrimp in a bowl and gently toss with the sauce.
  • 5. Serve in a lettuce - lined bowl or cup. Top with chopped scallions.
