banana strawberry cake image

I got this recipe from an old friend, its always a hit at gatherings.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 box banana instant pudding mix
1 box strawberry jello
1 pkg cool whip
1 box white cake mix
2 bananas sliced
1 c water

Steps:

  • 1. make cake according to directions on box
  • 2. after the cake is cool, make holes through out the top of the cake, i use a butter knife to do so
  • 3. heat jello mix and i cup water to a boil, remove from heat. Do not add any more water.
  • 4. pour hot jello all over top of cake, paying special attention to the holes. set aside
  • 5. make pudding according to directions on box
  • 6. mix pudding with cool whip well
  • 7. slice the bananas, and place on top of cake
  • 8. frost the cake with the pudding mix, refrigerate
