From the Star Club Cookbook, although Robin and I don't ever recall Grandma Robinson making banana cream pie! LOL

Steps:
- 2-3 c sugar 3 T cornstarch 1/2 t salt 2 c scalded milk Cook the above ingredients until thick then add the beaten yolks of two eggs, and cook three minutes longer. Add flavoring and when cooled pour over the sliced bananas and spread meringue on the top.
