- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In large skillet, brown steak in oil on both sides, cooking about 8 minutes in all.
- Transfer steak to oven-proof dish or skillet large enough for all ingredients.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Pile bell pepper and onion rings on top of steak.
- Top with stewed tomatoes.
- Pour ketchup over all.
- Bake 60 minutes.
