Baked Potato Dip image

A co-worker shared this on a recent vacation. It has got to be THE BEST dip I've ever had. Made it for the family and they loved it!! I'll be making this one a lot!! You can also opt to make it a lighter fare by using fat free cream cheese and reduced fat cheese.

Number Of Ingredients 5

8 ounce(s) cream cheese
1 jar(s) hormel bacon bits
8 ounce(s) shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoon(s) mayonnaise
- chopped chives(amount desired)

Steps:

  • Allow cream cheese to come to room temperature for easier mixing. Using a stand mixer combine all ingredients, reserving some of the bacon bits to top the dip. Place in an 8x8 casserole spreading to cover the dish. Place in a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 8-10 minutes. Top with remaining bacon bits and place back in the oven for another 10 minutes. Serve with potato chips. I prefer ridged chips as they are thicker and hold up better.
