2 cups quick oats
1 large egg, beaten
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon (to taste)
1/2 cup raisins

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Mix together oil, brown sugar, and beaten egg.
  • Add oats, baking powder, salt, milk, cinnamon, and raisins, and mix well.
  • Pour into greased 8"x8" pan.
  • Bake for 25- 30 minutes until done.
  • Serve with your choice- honey, maple syrup, milk, or vanilla ice cream.
