2 cups whole grain elbow macaroni, uncooked
1/4 cup olive oil, divided
1/4 cup finely chopped sweet onions
3 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups loosely packed chopped turnip greens (stems removed)
3 Tbsp. flour
2 cups milk
1-3/4 cups KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese, divided
2 Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 Tbsp. GREY POUPON Country Dijon Mustard
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Cook macaroni as directed on package, omitting salt.
  • Meanwhile, heat 1 Tbsp. oil in large saucepan on medium heat. Add onions and garlic; cook and stir 1 min. Add turnip greens; cook and stir 3 to 4 min. or until wilted. Spoon into bowl; set aside.
  • Heat remaining oil in same pan. Whisk in flour; cook and stir 1 min. Gradually whisk in milk; cook and stir 3 to 5 min. or until thickened. Add 1-1/4 cups shredded cheese, 1 Tbsp. Parmesan and mustard; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until shredded cheese is melted.
  • Drain macaroni. Add to cheese sauce along with the crushed red pepper and turnip greens mixture; mix well. Spoon into 1-1/2-qt. casserole sprayed with cooking spray; top with remaining cheeses.
  • Bake 20 min. or until heated through.
