BAKED CORN image

This is such a wonderful dish if you like corn. It's simple, easy and quick. My family & I like this because it's not so sweet.

Number Of Ingredients 8

3 Tbsp butter or margarine
3 Tbsp flour, all purpose or self-rising
2 c milk
16 oz frozen corn, thawed
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
2 Tbsp granulated sugar
3 eggs, beaten

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375. In a saucepan, melt butter; sprinkle in flour and stir well. Gradually add milk and bring to the boiling point but do not boil.
  • 2. Add in the thawed corn, salt, pepper and sugar. Heat thoroughly then remove from heat.
  • 3. Temper eggs then add to mixture. Pour into a 2 quart buttered baking dish and bake @375 for approximately 35 minutes.
