Baguette Appetizers image

My dad first made these about two years ago and they have been a great hit at holidays or just everyday. Forewarning...... These are alittle rich however, very addicting!!!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 c mayonnaise
1/2 c cheese, shredded (cheddar or colby jack)
1/4 tsp dijon mustard
3-4 slice bacon (cooked and diced)
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
1 pkg baguette rounds
2 c garlic spread

Steps:

  • 1. Turn oven on to broil. Cook Bacon, once cooked dice into small pieces by hand or a food dicer. While bacon is cooking place Garlic Spread on Baguettes.
  • 2. Mix together Mayo, Shredded Cheese, Dijon Mustard, Crushed Red Pepper and Bacon.
  • 3. Spread on to baguette rounds. Broil in oven until cheese is a little toasted. Take out, cool and serve.
