Bacon Chicken and Dumplings image

The taste of the bacon and chicken "0) need i say more?. You can use real cream if you want, but the half-half will work great. Enjoy Bacon Lovers!!

3 large potatoes diced
6 slice bacon, cooked
1 onion chopped
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
3 c chicken broth
1 tsp poultry seasoning
salt and pepper, to taste
1 can(s) corn, drained and rinsed
3 c half and half
1 1/2 c bisquick
1 c milk

Steps:

  • 1. COOK BACON TILL CRISPY AND SET ASIDE. WHEN COOL CRUMBLE.
  • 2. ADD POTATOES, CHICKEN AND ONION TO BACON DRIPPINGS AND COOK FOR 15 MINUTES, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY. POUR IN CHICKEN BROTH; SEASON WITH POULTRY SEASONING AND SALT & PEPPER. STIR IN CORN, AND SIMMER FOR 15 MIN.
  • 3. pOUR IN HALF AND HALF AND BRING TO A BOIL; ADD BACON. COMBINE BISQUICK WITH MILK AND MIX WELL (DOUGH SHOULD BE THICK). dROP BY TABLESPOONS INTO BOILING MIXTURE, REDUCE HEAT AND SIMMER FOR 10 MINUTES COVERED. ****NOTE-DO NOT STIR WHILE SIMMERING, DUMPLINGS WILL FALL APART..
