Steps:
- Cut potatoes into one inch cubes and cover with chicken broth and water if needed to cover over 1/2 to 1 inch over potatoes. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and celery salt. Boil until potatoes are tender.
- Add cheddar cheese soup, milk and butter. Smash potatoes just a little with a potatoe masher it helps thicken soup. If soup is too thin, you may add some corn starch and water to thicken.
- Ladle into a bowl and add a dollop of sour cream, bacon bits, shredded cheese and green onions and enjoy!
