AVOCADO TOSS SALAD image

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 head of lettuce (torn into bite sized pieces).
1 cucumber (thinly sliced)
1 avocado (sliced)
1 can of mandarin orange sections
3 green onions (sliced)
2 teaspoons of orange
peel zest
1/4 fresh orange juice
1/2 cup salad oil
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1/3 teaspoon of salt.

Steps:

  • In large salad bowl, combine lettuce, cucumber, avocado, mandarin orange sections, and onion. In a screw top jar combine oragne peel, juice, salad oil, sugar, vinegar, lemon juice and salt. Cover and shake well. Just before serving pour over salad, toss lightly.
