Aunt Donna's Meatloaf image

My aunt was a wonderful cook and we always looked forward to visiting with her and eating her dishes. Her meatloaf was a treat every time we had it.

Number Of Ingredients 11

1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1/2 c green bell pepper (diced)
1 c small onion (diced)
2 Tbsp mustard, spicy brown
2 eggs
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1/3 c bread crumbs, seasoned
1 small tomato sauce, italian seasoned
1 Tbsp chopped chives
3 slice bacon

Steps:

  • 1. Mix 1st 8 ingredients together to form a loaf. Place in a loaf pan.
  • 2. Pour tomato sauce over top and place bacon on top.
  • 3. Cook at 350 for about an hour. Temperature in middle of loaf should be at least 160 degrees. Let sit for 15 minutes then slice.
  • 4. Use leftovers for sandwiches the next day!
