Aunt Cleo's Fresh Apple Cake image

This is the best apple cake in the world or least that's what I think...lol....This is my great aunt's recipe and she always had this every time we visited her house when I was kid....it's was great

Number Of Ingredients 10

3 c all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon, ground
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 c oil
2 c sugar
2 eggs
1 c pecans (chopped)
3 c apples (chopped)

Steps:

  • 1. grease and flour Bundt pan
  • 2. Sift together flour,salt,soda...add oil and vanilla;beat until very smooth...set aside
  • 3. In another bowl beat eggs...add sugar beat until blended
  • 4. Fold egg and sugar mixture into flour mixture...when mixed...Add apples and pecans
  • 5. Pour in bundt pan and Bake 350 for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean
