Asparagus Chicken image

Number Of Ingredients 10

4 chicken breasts, whole
1/4 c olive oil, extra virgin
4 tsp butter, melted
1/4 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 c chicken broth
1/2 c heavy cream
1/2 tsp hot sauce
16 oz asparagus, canned
1/2 c parmesan cheese, grated

Steps:

  • 1. Brown the chicken in oil.
  • 2. In a saucepan, add flour and salt to butter.
  • 3. Stir in chicken broth and cook until thick.
  • 4. Remove from heat; add cream and hot pepper sauce.
  • 5. Place asparagus in the bottom of a 9x13\" casserole.
  • 6. Arrange the chicken on top of the asparagus.
  • 7. Pour sauce over the chicken and asparagus.
  • 8. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • 9. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
