Asparagus Casserole image

Number Of Ingredients 12

4 Butter
2 1/2 pound asparagus, trimmed and cut in 1" pieces
1/2 medium Sweet onion, chopped
1/4 cup flour
1 1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup swiss cheese, shredded
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika

Steps:

  • Grease casserole dish and preheat oven to 350
  • Melt butter over med. eat. Add asparagus and onions and cook, stirring for 6 min.
  • Sprinkle flour over veggies and cook for 1 to 2 minutes
  • Gradually stir in milk. Cook until thickend
  • Reduce heat to low and mix in Mayo, sour cream, both cheeses, salt, lemon pepper and paprika. Remove from heat
  • Transfer mixture to casserole dish
  • Bake for 30 minutes
