Asian Salmon with Rice image

This is an authentic asian recipe from a friend of mine. This is by far my favorite salmon dish. Yum!

Number Of Ingredients 13

4 - salmon portions
2 tablespoon(s) olive oil, extra virgin
2 tablespoon(s) rice vinegar
2 tablespoon(s) soy sauce
1 tablespoon(s) brown sugar, light
2 clove(s) minced garlic
1 pinch(es) black pepper
2 tablespoon(s) minced onion
1 tablespoon(s) sesame oil
FOR RICE
2 cup(s) rice, long grain
tablespoon(s) dill weed
4 cup(s) water

Steps:

  • Whisk all of the ingredients for the marinade together. Cut several small slashes in each salmon portion.
  • Place the salmon in a baking dish. Pour the marinade over the salmon. Cover with saran wrap and refridgerate for 1-2 hours.
  • Bake salmon (uncovered) at 350 degrees for 30 mins.
  • While the salmon is cooking, make the rice according to package directions and add the dill at the same time you add the rice to the boiling water.
  • Serve salmon over rice and pour any left over marinade from the baking dish on top.
