2 T butter, melted
1 c rice, rinsed
1 onion diced
1 can tomato sauce
2 T chili powder
1/8 t garlic powder
Salt, to taste

Steps:

  • Saute onions and rice in hot, melted butter in skillet until lightly brown. Add seasonings and tomato sauce. Cover with 1 to 2 cups of water. Cover with lid and cook over medium heat until rice is done.
